Kings of Chess Blitz
KOC Blitz Event — USCF-Rated Blitz Tournament
Get ready for a fast-paced and exciting day of chess at the Kings of Chess Blitz Tournament!
This USCF Blitz Rated Tournament is open to eligible USCF members of all skill levels. Players will compete in 9 rounds using a 5-minute game with a 2-second increment. With short breaks between rounds, every game will be filled with energy, strategy, and excitement.

Format: 9-round Swiss Time Control: Game/5 + 2-second increment Lunch Break: 12:30 PM–1:00 PM
Entry Limit: 50 players . USCF Membership: Required
Entry Fee
$25 through August 6, 2026 $30 beginning August 7, 2026

Cash Prizes
Cash prizes will be based on the number of participants. After tournament expenses, including the Tournament Director and venue fees, 80% of entry fees will go toward the prize pool.
With 15 or more players, cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers. With fewer than 15 players, prizes will be awarded to the top two finishers. Bonus awards for the top U1700 and U1400 players will be offered when there are more than 15 participants.
Bye Policy
A half-point bye is available in any of the first four rounds. Zero-point byes are available for rounds 5–9.
