In celebration of International Women’s Day, Kings of Chess Club proudly presents a  Girls Chess Championship to encourage, empower, and grow girls’ participation in chess across Colorado.

This is an unrated chess tournament, designed to encourage participation for girls of all skill levels, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced players.

• No USCF membership required
   
• Beginner-friendly and supportive environment
   
• Standard chess rules and fair play followed
   
• Ideal stepping stone toward future rated tournaments
   
• Advanced players are welcome to compete and challenge themselves

Girls only | Colorado residents

Age is determined as of January 1, 2026 (cutoff date).

• Section A: Under 10 (U10)
   
• Section B: Under 18 (U18)
   

• Check-in: 10:00 AM
   
• Round 1: 10:30 AM
   
• Round 2: 11:30 AM

Lunch Break: 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM

• Round 3: 1 PM
   
• Round 4: 2:00 PM
   
• Round 5: 3:00 PM
   

(Schedule subject to change based on event progress)

• Top 3 players in each section will receive Trophies
   
• Recognition for outstanding performance
